For the second consecutive year, the Masters programs of FGV's São Paulo Law School (FGV DIREITO SP) have been included in the list of the most innovative in the world by the Financial Times. Once again, São Paulo Law School was the only Latin American institution on the list. Programs from 98 schools were listed – mostly located in Europe and North America - and only four master's programs were from institutions from the Southern hemisphere.

For Oscar Vilhena Vieira, Dean of São Paulo Law School, "the adoption of innovative teaching methods and the intense internationalization work contributed to this result". "São Paulo Law School is constantly thinking about how to encourage students to be protagonists of their learning. In this challenge, we are always seeking to overcome established teaching formulas and daring to do it differently," he explained.

Besides innovative teaching methods, the Financial Times also considered the presence of foreign professors and students in the master's programs. São Paulo Law School offers the Global Law Program, which annually welcomes about 20 students and about 10 international professors to teach courses on topics related to global law, and strongly encourages their students to take part of their credits abroad. For this purpose, it relies on the Global League of Law Schools, which includes 25 Schools of excellence around the world.
