With over 130 cases, the project FGV LAW Cases began in 2017, and has assisted faculty from all graduate courses. Students at FGV LAW have a dynamic professional life, where work takes up most of their daily time. Hence, courses were designed so that each meeting, during classes, is a moment of much learning.[1]
To do that, FGV LAW Cases are one of the tools. It is a material bank created to help the program’s faculty to produce cases for participatory learning. FGV LAW provides academic support from selected researchers for building the cases and teaching notes – a guide for the professor, showing the best dynamic to’ apply in the classroom.
All developed materials are revised, edited, and diagrammed for online publication in our collection, a space for making this production visible to FGV LAW faculty and for assisting them in designing the strategies they will use in the classroom.

Connecting theory with practice
Using practical cases is an excellent way to put into effect the main foundations of FGV LAW academic project: student’s leading role, the connection between theory and practice, and interdisciplinarity.
In FGV LAW Cases Bank, the materials are identified by concentration area, and, in each activity, it is possible to get more information on the cases, such as the appropriate duration for applying the dynamic, teaching method applied and theme.
The Project began in 2017, and has helped professors from all FGV LAW courses. Today, there are more than 160 published cases that can be viewed by everyone, but full access to the material is restricted to e program’s faculty.
