Doctor of Law (2002) from the Law School of University of São Paulo - USP. Master's Degree in Civil Law (1997). Bachelor of Law (1991). He was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School (2006/2007). Previously, he was a public attorney of the State of São Paulo (1993/1998), Federal Judge of the 3rd. Federal Regional Court (1998/2007), and senior in-house counsel (Santander - 2007/2008 and CSN - 2008-2011). Member of the Advisory Council of AMCHAM/Brazil Arbitration Center, of the Legal Counsel of FIESP, and is on the list of arbitrators of the Rural Brazilian Society - SRB, the Chamber of Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration of CIESP/FIESP (CMA-CIESP/FIESP), and the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAM-CCBC). He is a professor at FGV São Paulo Law School in undergraduate and professional master's courses. He is a lecturer and author in the areas of Private Law, Litigation, and Agrarian Law.
