Bruno Meyerhof Salama is an expert in Commercial and Financial Law, with extensive experience in legal academia, private practice, and government. At UC Berkeley Law School, he teaches a variety of courses including Law and Economics, Monetary Law and Regulation, Law and Development, and Law Technology and Entrepreneurship. He is also a guest professor at FGV Law School in São Paulo in the doctoral and master's programs. He is a founding partner of Salama Silva Filho Advogados, which focuses on legal advice and complex litigation, and he actively serves as an arbitrator and sits as a dispute resolution panelist at the Arbitration Chamber of the Brazilian Stock Exchange. He has served as a consultant for the World Bank and as a member of the National Financial System Appeals Council (CRSFN), which oversees Brazilian financial markets. He has also been a Visiting Professor at Columbia University Law School in New York and at Beijing Jiaotong University Law School in China, and he holds admissions to the New York State and Brazilian Bars. He holds a doctorate in law from UC Berkeley Law School, a master's degree in economics from FGV in São Paulo and a bachelor's degree in law from the University of São Paulo.
