Daniel Wang holds a Doctor of Law degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He earned a Master's in Philosophy and Public Policy from LSE, and a Master's in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Law from USP. He served as a Professor of Health and Human Rights in the Department of Law at Queen Mary University of London and Research Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Law at LSE, where he taught Human Rights. Daniel has publications in the areas of Constitutional Law, Public Law, Human Rights, Health Law, and Bioethics. He was the conqueror of the "Public Policies and Equity: Practical Advances" award from the Center for Studies in Public Administration and Government (CEAPG) at the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV-SP) in 2009, and also of the "Legal Articles Contest on the Right to Social Assistance" awarded by the Ministry of Development and Fight against Hunger and the Ministry of Health [with Natália Pires] in 2014. From 2016 to 2018, he was a member of the Research Ethics Committee of the National Health Service in England. Currently, he is a member of the Bioethics Committee at Hospital Sírio-Libanês in São Paulo.
