Fernando Scharlack Marcato

He held the position of Secretary of Infrastructure and Mobility for the State of Minas Gerais from 2020 to 2023 and served as Executive Secretary of New Business at Sabesp Water company of the State of Sao Paulo, from 2008 to 2011. He is an expert in the structuring of concession projects, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and privatizations, with a deep focus on public infrastructure policies. He holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Public Law from the University of Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne and is the founder of Infracast, the first podcast in the Portuguese language dedicated to infrastructure-related topics.
