Associate Professor at the Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo (DIREITO SP). She was a visiting researcher at the University of Barcelona (2000-2003) and since 2004, she has been a full-time professor at Direito GV. Maíra is an experienced professor and researcher in law. She has worked on the following topics: criminal law, criminology, internationalization of law, international cooperation and economic criminality.
