She participated in postdoctoral research at Georgetown University Law Center (2008). She is a PhD in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1995), and a Master in Economic Science from the same uiversity (1985), and a bachelor in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas - SP (1977). She is currently the International Relations Coordinator at FGV Sao Paulo Law School  and a hired professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas. She has experience in the field of Economics, with an emphasis on Brazil and G-20, Balance of Payments, and International Finance, working mainly with the following topics: WTO, multilateralism and regionalism, economic development, Doha round, and trade negotiations.
