Full-time professor, in the associate position, at Getulio Vargas Foundation School of Law in Brazil. She is one of the coordinators of the Centre on Global Law and Development at FGV, as well as of the WTO Chair Program in Brazil. Professor Sanchez Badin holds a post doctorate from the Hauser Global Law School Program at New York University (2007), a Ph.D. and bachelor of laws degree (1998) from the School of Law of Universidade de São Paulo. She held researcher positions at the University of California (Irvine, 2015), as well as at Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) (2004-2013), at the New York University (2006), and at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (2001). Having focused on the International Economic Law field, she was one of the founding members of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL), she is a current co-director, of the RED-DEI – the International Economic Law Network in Latin America, and currently in charge of the Regional Trade Agreements group of the Brazilian ILA chapter. The most notable public agencies in Brazil FAPESP, CAPES and Cnpq have granted funds to her research projects (FAPESP 2014/25776-4, ongoing), and she also benefited from other Brazilian and foreign agencies grants in the past.
