Roberto Dias
Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs at Sao Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Direito SP) and professor of Law and Bioethics at the same School. He was a Professor of Constitutional Law at Escola de Administração de Empresas da FGV (EAESP-FGV) between 2015 and 2022 and at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) between 1992 and 2022. Bacharelor of law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1991), where he also completed his master's degree (1999) and his PhD (2007). He was Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs at PUC-SP (2008-2013) and academic coordinator of the Lato Sensu Graduate Program in Constitutional Law at the same University, from 2009 to 2018. He was president of the Constitutional Law Commission at OAB/SP (2016-2018), consultant to the Ministry of Justice (2012-2013) and legal superintendent of CEPAM – Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas de Administração Municipal (2010-2011). He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Rivista di BioDiritto – BioLaw Journal (Italy) and of the Bioethics Committee of Hospital Sírio-Libanês, which he chaired from 2023 to 2025. He is a partner at the law firm DCMD Advocacia. His main areas of academic research are fundamental rights and bioethics.
