Professor Larry A. Weiser has been on the faculty of Gonzaga Law School in the clinical law program since 1981. He is director of the clinical law programs, the Elder Law Project, and teaches Elder Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Prof. Weiser is past chairman of the Administrative Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association and law school liaison and past treasurer of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Washington State Bar Association. Prof. Weiser has been certified as an Elder Law attorney by the American Bar Association and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a former board member of the Spokane Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, Washington State Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and past chair of the Dispute Resolution Center of Spokane and ADR Section of the Spokane County Bar Association.
Prof. Weiser is currently a member of the Spokane County Superior Court Guardian Ad Litem Committee. He has mediated many cases over the past 20 years and is a certified mediator with the Northwest Conflict Management Center (formally known as Inland Mediation Center of Spokane) and the Washington Mediation Association.
