Leadership and Innovation in Law: the emergence of legal innovation leaders in a changing sector

Inspired by the conclusions of the “Technology, Professions and Legal Education” research, this investigation sought to understand and discuss, based on empirical data, the emergence of a new professional, specific to this context of digital transformation, who is the innovation leader of offices and legal departments. The goal was to map opportunities and challenges in the job market for these professionals, what skills and competencies were expected for these positions, what has been their importance in the legal ecosystem, and how legal education has accompanied and participated in the training of these professionals, currently more requested than ever.
