The social role of companies in post Covid: what has changed

ON GOING

This project intends to analyze social sustainability initiatives by companies located in Brazil, specially designed to overcome the economic and social problems imposed by the health crisis caused by COVID-19. This analysis aims to understand better the role of the Brazilian corporate space in formulating policies capable of generating development and social change, especially in the context of the public health crisis. At a critical moment such as that experienced in 2020, the state's exhaustion is evident, as it tries - often unsuccessfully - to repair the impacts of the pandemic and of social isolation.

In this scenario, several companies are developing initiatives, seeking to reduce the economic impact of the current crisis. Among them, we can mention the creation of health research committees and philanthropic actions to donate food and personal hygiene products.
