Informal International Law Making

The INLAW project seeks to answer questions related to the accountability versus effectiveness of informal international law making. The purpose of this inquiry is to understand whether and how networks (which fall under the definition of INLAW), their participants, their rule-drafting process and output are regulated under domestic law/politically. The research is conducted in the US, UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Brazil. Case studies in Brazil focus on health and finance-related networks: ICH, GHTF, Basel I and II and IOSCO.
