Heloisa Estellita
Awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research at at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and Augsburg Universität (2014-2017), in cooperation with CAPES. She earned a J.S.D. (Juris Science Doctor) from the University of Sao Paulo and a Master of Laws from Universidade Estadual Paulista. She is a Law Professor at the Fundação Getulio Vargas School of Law in São Paulo, where she leads a research group on Corporate Crime. She is a member of the Special Commission on Data Protection of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (2022-2025). She was admitted to the List of Assistants to Counsel before the International Criminal Court. She is Consultant and Board member at Zela Consulting. She was appointed by the Presidency of the House of Representatives as a member of the Commission of Jurists to draft a Draft Bill on the Protection of Personal Data for Law Enforcement Purposes (2019-2020) and as a member of the Commission of Jurists to draft a Draft Bill to reform the Money-Laundering Act (Law 9,613/1998) (2020-2021). She was visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institut für ausländisches und internationales Strafrecht (Freiburg, Germany) and developed postdoctoral researches at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain). She was a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court and a temporary officer of the Assembly of the States Parties of the International Criminal Court. She clerked for Justice Cezar Peluso at the Brazilian Supreme Court.
