This research aims to assess the types of discrimination suffered by lesbians (due to sexism and heteronormativity), the intersection between gender and affective orientation discrimination, and potential specificities of their professional trajectories, resulting from a differentiated identity development. We will base the analysis on existing policies for the retention and advancement of lesbians, and general policies for the promotion of diversity, according to three diversity paradigms (Thomas and Ely, 1996), in order to assess their effectiveness.
